Barbara Schlaefer heads up the employee benefits department for The Financial Services Center and specializes in insurance solutions for small to medium sized companies. She has more than 15 years of extensive experience in the insurance field. Her clients appreciate her expansive knowledge of creating and negotiating the best employee benefits packages for them. She has access to more than 25 quality health and life companies. Her focus on worksite wellness programs and employee education is a mission of her work. Barbara is a Certified Life Underwriter Training Fellow and a member of the Wisconsin Association of Health Underwriters.  She received her bachelor of arts from the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire.

Affiliations: Barbara is a member of the Society of Human Resource Professionals and serves on the board of the National Association of Women Business Owners Greater Madison Chapter. She is an active volunteer in her community.
